Icmeler Beach

A lovely relaxed beach with a gorgeous clear sea. We were staying in Icmeler and although we went to Marmaris a few times we liked the beach here the best.

Gold

Turkey is a good place for gold most of the time, but in this economic climate it's pretty great so I got my gf/new fiancee her wedding ring whilst on holiday. Now it's a reminder of our trip away too.

I feel like I'm in the pulsing heart of Rome when I stop here! There's always plenty happening, often something unexpected so be sure to stop by for a drink or a sit down.

You know, I think I could stay here forever, looking at St Peters, seeing nuns scurrying by and generally enjoying the atmosphere in this beautiful setting. I love it!

Santa Maria Maggiore

The oldest church in Rome, and perhaps the world (??) it's absolutely beautiful with artwork and frescoes and mosaics to match the best i've ever seen.
