Valley of Fire

I really wanted to explore some of the area outside vegas and this was the best place we went, although not for the faint of heart it was pretty hot and there was little shade! amazing to see the rocks jutting out of the ground and the rock art is totally fascinating.

Caesars Palace

We couldn't come all the way to Vegas and not go the legendary Caesars Palace. The opulent style was verging on the ridiculous and thankfully we missed Celine Dion, but it was pretty cool to be inside such a famous and inspirational place.

Lied Discovery Childrens Museum

A family holiday to Vegas might not seem like a great way to spend the holidays but actually the kids respond so well to all the bright lights just seeing them is a treat! This science museum was right up their street, as they love anything they can get involved with.

Mirage Volcano

At the same time the most terrifying and the most exciting thing that I saw in Vegas! Those people really are crazy but in some of the cases it just works like this! I became obsessed and went to see it most nights.

My gal pal and me had a ball here, we had a small but cute self catering apartment with views of the marina and across to fuerteventura and the beach within easy walking distance, bars and shops too, what more could you want?!
