Whytecliffe Park

My man and me went here for the afternoon and had a great time, we skimmed stones on the beach and chatted to some scuba guys, who offered us a go but we didn't have anything with us sadly, next time...

Kitsilano Pool

posted by gemrick on 2 December 2010 at 11:50

Perfect for smaller children, we discovered this place last time we went to Vancouver and went on several days. The pool is salt water but heated so you get the best of both the sea and the pool. There's a few slides, great facilities and the setting is picturesque.

Little India

If you're after some good indian food then this is the place to come. You can get snacks and sweets as well as obviously enjoy a full meal. But don't just eat and run, we explored some of the shops and the range of stuff was great, loads of lovely material, jewellery etc. Definitely worth heading to one afternoon.

49th ave and main street, south vancouver

Stawamus Chief

posted by jreighner on 2 December 2010 at 11:48

Despite some protests we climbed this as a family! The walk is a little challenging but actually not too bad if you're used to hill walking. Great sense of achievement, and the views were amazing, i think we even saw glaciers!

where, when, how, web
Squamish, a bit of a drive 80km or so north but it's great to see the countryside that Canada has to offer.
