The staff at this hotel excell above any others I have ever met when it comes to making their guests feel welcome which is such a treat. The hotel is in a brilliant location as well.

This is a goog opportunity to see a little slice of rural Holland condensed into a neat little open air museum, there are some of the iconic Dutch windmills a little model farm and a place where you can see cheese and clog making demonstrations. Its just a 20 minute rail journey from Amsterdam.

Overall a good resort for the family... Entertainment and activities on offer were great. The food could have been a bit better for a 5-star all inclusive though - the menu was pretty boring.

This is a really pretty part of Amsterdam and pleasantly off the beaten path. There are lots of lovely little boutique shops and some sweet little cafes. I would recommend just taking an aimless meander through the streets here. Famous former residents of Jordaan include Rembrandt and Anne Frank

This is a wonderful little venu which is housed inside a former jail under Amsterdam's oldest bridge. There are regular shows on there- lots of live jazz nights as well as the odd art exhibition and fashion show. The best thing about this place is that it's not commonly known to tourists.
