Sex in the City Hotspots Tour

posted by xreighner on 25 November 2010 at 09:45

It's often been said that the 5th character in the series is New York and so when my mate and I went for a trip we just had to do this tour. It was so cool to see loads of the places in the show and a bit weird to too! A must do for all SATC fans!!

Belvedere Castle

posted by lcarter on 25 November 2010 at 09:43

At first glance it could be the famous disney castle as a flag flutters from its pointed tip! On top of vista rock, this stone castle really catches the eye, and the views from the nature observatory and tower are great, just mind your step on the castle's winding staircase!

Schloss Charlottenburg

Extraordinary Grandeur! My mother and I loved visiting here, the palace itself was sumptous, particularly the new wing with the state apartments of Frederick the Great! The gardens too were delightful, although it was a little cold to fully appreciate their magnificence, and the Belvedere was a lovely surprise.

Zoologische Garten and Aquarium

posted by dludwig on 25 November 2010 at 09:14

We really enjoyed our day at the zoo, the oldest in Germany. The place itself is lovely to look at with lots of quirky old features, and there are loads of pretty rare animals too. And the aquarium, it's simply beautiful, I could have stayed there all day!

Berlin Radisson Hotel

posted by yeaster on 25 November 2010 at 09:14

The aquarium at this hotel is just HUGE, in fact i believe it's the world's largest cylindrical aquarium. It looks a bit mad but is also beautiful, and definitley a must-see since it's free! Oh to have the money to stay in a room with an aquarium view!
