Luna Park

This is a fun place to take kids, and a good treat after lots of sights. There's plenty of rides to go on and as you pay for every ride separately you can do as little or as much as you like.

Colosseum

Surely the most iconic part of Rome! I loved it here and having visited before I decided to stay a lot longer this time and really explore by walking around everywhere, and sitting with my lunch too. I love imaginign how it would have been with its cloth roof and gladiators fighting.

Seven Hills Tour

A different and fun way to get to know Rome was shown to me by my friends there when we toured the seven hills by scooter. First stop was Capitoline (the steps we had to walk up) and then the Palatine (also no good on your scooter). After that the Aventine, Caelium, Esquiline the Viminal and finally the Quirinal. Too much to see to mention here but a MUST DO!

Rainforest Cafe

I'd previously been to the one in Piccadily and this one was even better! The rainforest atmosphere is awesome, and the best bit is when the tropical storm starts. The crocodile is great fun too. You have to try the brownie volcano!

Cloud Nine Balloon Experience

My boyfriend took me on this and I totally loved it. The balloon won't fly away as it's tied to the ground so you can just feel safe and enjoy the views of the strip, which are amazing. We really liked the waiting area too with quirky balloon ride facts and a lovely sculpture area.
