My boyfriend is a sucker for anything Japanese so we loved it here, especially the sushi which was delicious. A beautiful place we enjoyed watching the world go by, as well as a wicked traditional dance show at the theatre. The Peace Plaza was perfect for a lazy afternoon reading in the sun too.

I really wanted to go here and see where the 'summer of love' all kicked off, even though i'd heard that it's gone a bit upmarket. True, there are some signs that it's lost its heart, but the discount shops, used clothing, record shops and hippy cafes are still really cool to walk round and there's plenty of youth atmosphere still there, whether that's the original feel or not i can't be sure.

A totally charming collection of cypriot arts and crafts, amazing to see the indigenous crafts, much better than the 'local' things you'll find at the markets.

It was eerie finding this place as you have to find the catacombs, which are marked by a tree with rags and personal effects tied to it. Definitely the strangest church i've been to but in its way totally lovely too. Makes you think you don't need all the granduer of something like st. peters in rome to get close to God.
