My friends and I went to the model tenerife with our kids and it was a fun day out. I'd not been to many parts of the island so it was cool to see what was there! The sounds really help get into the atmosphere of the different areas too, and there are some hilarious touches to look out for like shoddy double parking or boys spying on topless sunbathers!!

We went to this event as a whole family and even the youngest (7) really enjoyed it. It's interactive, the food is good and the atmosphere is great.

My mates and I took a free bus to the Jardines de Atlantico and took the english-speaking tour of the banana plantation. The water-cycle of tenerife model was fun and the nanan-related gift shop was great!

Such fun! Interactive things like make-you-own-video nicely break up the exhibits and make for a fun family day out. Oooh and celebrity bingo makes for a fun time too.

I've long been a fan of urban farms and this one is really good. Plenty of animals to see and get close to as well as plants. The kids had a great time too, it's so much better than going to the zoo and it gives them a better idea about the connection between animals and food.
