I love to come and sit here and read my book, enjoying the view and the breeze! I've never seen a concert here but I imagine it would be pretty special.

Bitez Beach

Lovely shallow waters and a great family-friendly feel at this beach. as at all the places it's really clean in the water and although the beach can be pebbly in places there are sunbeds so you can still enjoy sunbathing.

We got a taxi each way from bodrum centre and it was really reasonably priced, certainly worth it for a change of scene!

Jeep Safari

I suprised my husband with this on our last trip to Bodrum. The jeep took us up into the mountains and we really explored some great places, saw forest and traditional little villages and it's an unforgettable experience

we arranged it through the travel agent and they met us at our hotel, not sure if that's normal though!

Boat trip

On the harbour there are boats every day going to loads of places just ask around and see where you want to go, or if you just want to relax pick something that looks nice! i've done this a couple of times and ended up in some great places and swimming in crystal blue seas.

just head to the harbour quite early and chat to the boat owners.

Nossa Senhora da Carmo

What a splendid church, although not much from the outside. My mother and I simply loved it in here. The gold altar was a sight to behold and the intricate designs of every aspect were unexpected and lovely.
