Silver Springs

Oooh the theme parks are fun but sometimes I just don't want to stand in line or wait! and that's when I go to silver springs, sometimes for a long walk, sometimes to just sit by the water and watch the kids let off steam, but it's always rewarding and i feel ready to face the theme parks for another day!

Paleokastritsa

My friends were annoying me so I took a day trip-which turned into an overnight trip-to Paleokastritsa. A lovely little village with good food, a pretty beach and a monastery. The monastery is lovely, calming and peaceful, it was lovely to just sit and read my book and not worry about anything.

Museum of Asian Art

My partner just loves japanese art and we were astonished to find some in Corfu! This delightful museum is in a gorgeous building and has some lovely pieces. A pretty and quiet place to spend the afternoon.

Pelekas Beach

The joys of hiring a car are that you are free to go where the people aren't, like the lovely Pelekas Beach. Although a bit of a drive from Corfu Town it was worth it for the peace and relaxation

My boyfriend and I took a trip here on our holiday, when we were a bit grumpy and too sunburned to enjoy the beach, and it was just lovely. The marble church and the old houses were just the tonic, and the food at Trypas was delicious. Definitely something i'd recommend.
