This wonderful shop sells Hungarian folk art and is well worth having a look around although it is rather expensive! You can find it just under Castle Hill.

Absolute Walking Tours

We took a 3 hour guided walking tour around Budapest and were really pleased with the service we received. There are a couple of different itineries but we decided on the 'Absolute Tour' which was reasonably priced for such an extensive tour.

Mandara Spa

I sent the kids off with my husband and decided to treat myself to a day at this well reviewed spa in the Portofino Bay Hotel. It was by far the best spa I have ever been to, the treatments were out of this world and I felt so relaxed for the next couple of days.

Disney MGM Studios

Our family had so much fun at the MGM studios. It was hard to decide which of the mega theme parks to go to but MGM has it all; rides, rollercoasters and the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular which was just like watching the movie!

Sweet Tomatoes

Delicious! What a refreshing change from the hotel food we had experienced for most of the week. Sweet Tomatoes offers fresh, buffet style salad bar and tasty warm baked bread. Certainly worth stopping in for lunch.
