Sydney is a beautiful city and these gardens are a variation of that theme. Displaying a wide range of plant life from the South Pacific plus some wildlife including bats! It is worth walking through even if you are en route elsewhere.

I loved this place! I wish we had somewhere like it back home. There are a couple of different locations but it is far from a chain of restaurants. Laid back atmosphere, coffee, newspapers and the best scrambled eggs around.

This cool little gallery is a great space offering Australian and international contemporary art. It also has a lovely jewellery store where I found some beautiful earings and a pleasant cafe. Worth a visit if you are in town.

You would expect that being on the Red Sea the diving would be outstanding however I was a little disappointed with it this time. It seems the diving operators have become complacent about the service they offer and sadly the reef has been damaged.

This bar has a strong European influence as it is run by a Dutch couple. They had a great set of live entertainment on every night including bands, football on the big screen and lots of dancing! This place is a lot of fun.
