The museum displays an extensive selection of Picasso’s work and information about his life and family. Furthermore the historic house acts as a Research Centre, in the attempt to gather as many artefacts about the artist as possible. The museum is open from Monday to Sunday, with a small admission fee.

This cafe was a hoot! We found ourselves drawn to the noise coming from this cafe on the pedestrianised Calle Marqués de Larios - a central street in Málaga. We soon realised it was a posh sweet shop, serving up a whole host of pastries and cakes, ice creams, sweets, chocolates, coffees and teas. Yummy!

We spent most of our week on Municipal Beach. Although it is next to Posidonos in central Kato Pafos, the water is clear and the swimming is good. This beach has also earned an EU Blue Flag for cleanliness. There are lots of nice cafes and bars nearby too, perfect for when you need an ice cream of a cold drink!

My wife and I enjoyed a superb meal here together. The chef is an old lady (who may well be Fetta!) who serves out the dishes through a little window. The tables are set on the other side of the road on the entrance to a park. Its a simple set up bu the food - meze and grills - is delicious.

The castle was once a Byzantine Fort and has an extensive, interesting history. Now it is one of the landmarks of Paphos where many cultural events take place, particularly in the square just in front of the castle. We attended the Paphos Aphrodite Festival which stages its annual opera next to the castle.
