Jardin du Luxembourg

posted by njelliman on 8 October 2010 at 10:20

This is such a lovely garden, peaceful and elegant. We came here for lunch and it were so enchanted we wandered about for ages. The building that dominates it is the french senate and there are so many statues you feel like you're abck at the louvre!

where, when, how, web
Since it's so big there are alot of ways to get there, the RER stop Luxembourg is the closest.

With Hediard, Fauchon and lots of other smaller places you can buy the best that this glorious city has to offer to eat to your heart's content back at home. Ooh and maybe a pastry for now!

where, when, how, web

Rodin Museum

posted by bhawker on 8 October 2010 at 10:19

My boyfriend and I are great admirers of Rodin and it was such a treat to come here. The museum is actually where he used to live and you can go pretty much everywhere and see old favourites and discover new ones. It's much better than just seeing the replica 'thinker' from the metro stop just by the museum!

where, when, how, web
Rue de Varenne 77, metro varenne, it's right by Hotel des Invalides.

Balcony of the Mediterranean

posted by qlinton on 8 October 2010 at 09:46

I always come here at least twice when I go to Benidorm, just to soak up the views and, i guess by now, get a little nostalgic. The views are really wonderful and it's fun to try and spot places that you've been.

where, when, how, web
From Sant Jaume Church go through the tunnel and then down the steps.

My girlfriends and I went away for another girly week in the sun and we just had to come back for another show here. Oooh the costumes, the glamour, it's just a feast for the eyes and a top night.

where, when, how, web
Avenida Severo Ochoa 13, we got a taxi but i think there are buses too if you're too far to walk
