Thre's so much to see it's impossible to say everything just that a visit to the capital is a must there's culture, fabulous food (all you veggies like me should go to Kamats by the munucipal garden...heaven), beaches, nightlife, disco river cruises, and i'd recommend taking the car ferry over the river to the small islands to explore.

The area is full of beautiful temples, lovely people and delicious food. We also met people who were on a spice tour but we decided to stick with the temples. My favourite was Kavlem, a complex of temples all for one deity. Also, you have to eat the traditional fish dishes of the area.

Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

We happened upon this gem taking a tour on our scooters. Lovely little place with gorgeous gardens not to mention ELEPHANT RIDES! Also there are lots of birds and seems to be a birdwatcher haven.

It's just off highway 4A although a map is recommended if you're going it solo.

Our whole family loved this magical and enchanting place. Tricky to find, it's best to take directions with you to be sure not to miss out! My son loved the cave and my sister and I loved the pools that have been left, so beautiful and excellent for a dip after the walk.

Amante Beach Club

Oooh how spoilt I was on my holiday in Ibiza! My husband surprised me by taking me to the Amante Beach Club and I felt like a celebrity. The stunning surroundings, excellent food and relaxed vibe were perfect.
