Auditorio de Tenerife

We went here to see it as we'd heard it's the most famous bit of architecture in the Canaries and I have to say I never saw anything so ugly in my life! Not worth the effort.

The quaintest band who play traditional Tenerife folklore songs with the traditional instruments. It's really interesting to hear the local music as modern pop is so ubiquitous these days you don't really get to hear much else!

Museum of Science and the Cosmos

I never knew Tenerife would have such wonderful museums, and this was my girlfriend's and my favourite one of the lot, in the old capital of the island. Fascinating stuff about everything from space to the human body.

What a fascinating museum! I loved the historical side whilst my boys were completely taken by the mummies!!

What a stunning spot! Beauty, colour and elegance all combine to make the ideal place for a quiet afternoon and even better you can see the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech in here too.
