A great day trip from Iraklio when you fancy a change. This wonderful village is a delight to get to, plus ther's so much to see here! Four archaeological sites (one right there and three close by) just add to the charms of the place, which are many due to the traditional nature of the architecture and the people.

The capital is a lively and buzzing place to be, well worth considering for a holiday in Crete. You have the choice of wonderful day trips as well as great beaches and a chic and exciting nightlife as well!

Such a beautiful town! We had such a lovely holiday here staying in a converted venetian townhouse buotique hotel. If you go here be sure to wander the quaint streets and enjoy the beauty of the harbour.

We were staying right near here in Belek and so we played a couple of rounds throughout the week and it was great! Lovely to get a chance to really enjoy playing the game and in such glorious weather too!

This is the local spirit, which tastes a little bit like liquorice. It's delicious but a word of caution, it's pretty potent so go easy on the first night!!!
