great hotel, medium priced. Wonderful service and a good, reasonably priced restaurant and bar. Lovely, clean, comfortable suites, or rooms, which are slightly cheaper. Handy scheduled shuttlebus (free) into central Boston and Harvard Square , brings you back to the hotel too (book in advance)

Chinese Bus

For a great day out (or stay overnight in New York) get the chinese bus from Davis square directly into chinatown, New York. The journey takes 3 and a half hours on a good day and costs 15 pounds return per person, a real bargain.

A great little bar which serves delicious, huge, cheap breakfasts to the sound of a live jazz band. Get there early, they stop serving breakfast at around 12 noon and are always busy! Well worth the wait though.
