This is actually a fairly mediocre place but we really enjoyed our stay, the rooms are comfy and large and the staff are friendly. The greatest recomendation for this place though is that it won't break the bank and it's within easy distance of the train station, lake and most of the sttractions of central Geneva.

This place was a bit of a let down to be honest an I would recommend you carry on looking if this is where you were thinking of staying. It's a bank breaker with none of the service, cleanliness and general sheen you might expect. In addition, the food is quite inedible.

You can visit the impressiv estadiums where the 2004 games took place but don't forget to see the one where it all began! The site of the 1896 games - the original marble olympic stadium is a really wonderful sight and is on an extraordinary scale witha capacity of up to 60,000 people.

This is the largest necropolis in Athens, like many sites in the city, it's unbelievably old. Not that many tourists seem to go here but it is included in the Acropolis ticket, and if you enjoy nothing else about the experience, the views at least are amazing. There is a great museum where some of the more ornate or old tomb stones and sculptures are housed.

Lots of people miss the Thision in a whistle stop tour of Athens which seems to lust involve the Parthenon and National Museum. However, it is a really important place, an easy place to visit and in much better condition that most of the other ancient remains in Athens. It is the Temple of Hephaistos and visible from the Parthenon in the old Agora part of town.
