The UN headquarters are a highlight of a trip to Geneva. You can get a guided tour around the building and learn a lot about the history of the UN. The outside of the building with the flags of all the member countries is pretty impressive and the walk back into town through some beautifuly kept gardens is great.

Lake Geneva is a huge and beautiful body of water. There are some beautiful gardens and parks around the lake and great little cafes by the wateredge. The Jet d'Eau is a great sight- a jet of water shooting up into the sky and creating rainbows. There's a water bus accross the lake which is worth a ride.

There are some lovely sights to be seen in the old town of Geneva. amongst these, the St Pierre Cathedral is definitely a highlight. It's free to get in though its worth paying the fee to climb the spire for the views. Place du Borg de Four is a lovely little square and has some great cafes and restaurants from which to do some people watching. The Town Hall is worth seeing too

This is the largest museum in India and impossible to take in in its entirety. It's definitely worth a visit though and has some great curation. There are sections on archaeology, anthropology, zoology and art. Some of the highlights here include some exquisite miniatures, sculptures from the Gandhara civilization and fossils of prehistoric animals of India.
