The Artisan fair has a great sollection of handicrafts on sale. It happens every Sunday by the Praca Republica. There are lots of gem stones available for sale as well as leather and metal work. Its worth getting food at one of the stalls here too.

This is the Japanese district in Sao Paulo and grew up after the influx of Japanese immigrants after WWII. Its especially worth going on a Sunday morning when there's a bustling market here.

The Sao Paulo art museum is worth a visit just to see the building which is raised on massive stilts off the ground. In the space underneath the gallery, there are Sunday antique and handicraft markets. Inside the museum, you'll find the best collection of European art in South America with a full collection of renaissance masterpieces.

A really beautiful and well maintained park in the heart of Sao Paulo. The park is very safe and has some great bits of modern architecture in it. its a welcome respite from the heat and bustle of the town

The Islamabad Museum documents the country's rich and long history with exhibits dating back 20 million years with fossils from the region. There are lots of ancient tools and implements. A highlight for me was the large collection of Gandharan and Mughal art.
