Cannot say enough great things about DAR NAJAT ! Impeccable service from the moment I arrived. Olivier, the owner, was especially helpful, friendly and welcoming. I stayed in the beautiful Leila room... it had a flatscreen TV, couch sitting area, nice shower, and a lovely bed with a nice firm mattress. I enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace in the afternoons and felt right at home throughout my stay. Breakfast is perfectly executed traditional Moroccan excellent coffee, fresh juice, fresh bread and eggs, jams, amlou, honey. The riad is close to Djemaa el Fna and conveniently located for exploring the city. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Marrakech.

My partner and I spent a weekend in Marrakech at Dar Najat and had a great time. It is just a few minutes walk to the main square and easy to find but what makes it such a special place is the unique atmosphere and the staff. It feels like you are staying with old friends and you are made to feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. It has a superb rooftop with a jacuzzi. It really is the best place to stay in Marrakech.

A very old house/palace which houses a collection of local arts, especially berber. It only costs 10MAD and is really interesting and gives you a good perspective on the local arts and crafts. The opening hours are a bit qwirky so check first. You can go into the outdoor courtyards as well as the rooms.
