Empire State Building

This iconic building was top of my must-do list when I went to New York. Yes, the crowds were pretty bad, and it's not cheap, but you can't miss it, can you?

So iconic, and so exciting to finally go! We booked our tickets online so we didn't really have to queue and it was so cool to be there. The views are so amazing I could have stood there all day just gawping!

Empire State Building

The Empire State Building used to be the world's tallest building. It no longer holds that designation, but it still is one extremely impressive structure and is the tallest building in the city of New York. Going to the top of the observation deck affords you the most spectacular views of New York City's five boroughs and the surrounding states of Connecticut and New Jersey. You can truly appreciate the vastness of the greatest city on earth when you're up almost 1/4 mile in the sky. The Empire State Building stands on magnificent Fifth Avenue, and is walking distance from the theater and garment districts, plus some of the best shopping in all of New York City. A trip to New York is not complete without a trip to the observation deck.
