Central Park Zoo

The Central Park Zoo is an easily managed wild animal and petting zoo in the heart of manhattan. The sea lion pool is especially attractive. Other exhibits include polar regions, including bears, primates, and the Rain Forest. Events are scheduled throughout the year, with special fun slated for Halloween (Boo at the Zoo" and the "Wild Holiday Party" offered in December. My favorite thing abou this zoo is that it is only a short walk back out onto Fifth Avenue, or continue enjoying Central Park itself.

The Chrysler Building

Not the tallest but quite the most stunning skyscraper in Manhattan. 319 metres of art deco splendour.
