Discovery Museum

The Discovery Museum is a fun place for both adults and kids. They have great learning exhibits that are fun and interesting. The best part is it's free! The museum has all types of exhibits from science to history. One could spend hours here because there's just so much to see and do, including interactive exhibits.

Beamish Museum

This is an open air museum where the historical buildings have been moved to one location and reassembled. They have costumed characters to tell the story. It is like turning back the clock.

This is fun and engaging for all ages. It is a wonderful place for kids' imagination to come alive. This free museum is hands on and interactive. There is area history and something for everyone.
