Renaissance Orlando Resort

There are so many great hotels in Orlando, and really good hotels near the airport, all newer, very well appointed, that for one to charge you to park in their lot I think is outrageous. The $8.00 per day fee to park was not disclosed anywhere on their site when I booked this stay....

Grand Bohemian Hotel

Now this is what a hotel should be! What a hidden gem. The hotel impressed from the moment we were greeted by the valet, to the time our luggage was back in the car. Front desk staff was perfectly attentive. The food in the restaurant was superb.

DoubleTree Orlando

Great location - you can walk to Universal in 20 minutes, nice room size, comfortable beds, breakfast options are plentiful but sadly very expensive.

Marriotts Cypress Harbour

We stayed in a villa at the Marriotts Cypress Harbour and it was great! The villa was huge and even had a two person jacuzzi. The resort grounds were huge and really well kept and there's a nice swimming pool. The staff are really friendly and went out of their way to help us. All round a great holiday.

Renaissance Orlando Resort at Seaworld

This is the perfect place to stay in Orlando if the focus of your trip is Seaworld - it's just across the road. Even if this isn't the reason you're in Orlando, there are shuttle buses to all the parks anyway. You can getr a good view of the nightly seaworld fireworks shows from the hotel and there's a decent swimming pool which is a life saver in the summer heat. There's also an 18 hole golf course here if that's your thing.
