Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens

Taking a few days in the lake area after Disney, I dragged my family here. Not sure they appreciated it, but I loved it, the highlight of my trip.Lovely gardens, amazing sculptures, this is what holidays should be like!

This is the kind of place that everyone is interested in something different. You go at your own pace which is nice because some of the exhibits are so outlandish you want to get on to the next thing. It is a strange tilted building and inside you find plenty of oddities. It's fun for tweens and up.

Hard Rock Café

This is a place that is part restaurant and part American Museum with all kinds of Rock and Roll Memorabilia. It is a very fun atmosphere with great oldies rock music going at all times. The food is pretty good too, but the real draw is the chance to look around and see photos of rockers in their prime and their famous clothing or a car hanging from the ceiling. It is crazy!

Orlando Science Center

Tourists going to Orlando should consider a trip to the Orlando Science Center, where there are hands-on, educational and fun-filled interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages. This is a family oriented science museum that explores the natural wonders of science as well as the advanaces made in the technology areas. There are a number of permanent exhibits as well as special and traveling exhibits, films and workshops. The museum is open daily (except Wednesdays) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and you can purchase your advance tickets online.
