Taking a few days in the lake area after Disney, I dragged my family here. Not sure they appreciated it, but I loved it, the highlight of my trip.Lovely gardens, amazing sculptures, this is what holidays should be like!

My husband and I come to Orlando when we can and stay in our friend's holiday home. Not a fan of the theme parks, I prefer something more natural, and this park is my current favourite. Lively and interesting during the day it becomes really mellow in the evening with colourful fountains and a really relaxed vibe.

Oooh the theme parks are fun but sometimes I just don't want to stand in line or wait! and that's when I go to silver springs, sometimes for a long walk, sometimes to just sit by the water and watch the kids let off steam, but it's always rewarding and i feel ready to face the theme parks for another day!

Discovery Park is an all inclusive day of adventure. The park is run very well, and quite honestly there are no mice running around which after a few days over at Disney you are over it. I was quite surprised by how enjoyable this place was. The park has snorkeling areas loaded with fish for you to enjoy, a petting tank where you can pet the sting rays etc, and of course the main attraction, getting to swim with the dolphins. This is all coordinated by the staff at Discovery Cove so you are not waiting on lines all day. You simply know where you need to be at what time and you do it. The food is ok, and the staff are very good. The park only takes limited amount of people a day so you do need to make a reservation. They offer a wide array of packages depending on what you would like to do.

Universal orlando is great for the entire family. There is something for everyone. There are three award winning hotels located inside the resort. Children from ages three to nine get free theme park admission. They also have these great universal express ride access cards so you can skip the long lines and ride all day long!!
