A really charming museum, there's so much to learn about the history of Cyprus here. Pottery and the Lefkara furnishings were the highlights. If you want to learn more about the great country you're visiting then go here!!

I loved the Paphos Archaeological park and the highlight were the mosaics in the house of Dionysus, along with the other main houses that make up the complex. I've not seen such well-preserved Roman mosaics before and it was a real treat.

Having been to Paphos before and thoroughly enjoyed but exhausted the Archeological Park we were after a new site to visit, so went to the ruins of the ancient castle of 40 columns. It was so much fun there with steep steps and plenty to imagine, the kids enjoyed dashing about too.

We drove here for the day from Paphos, and were really impressed with how peaceful and beautiful this area was, having not visited north cyprus before. We are thinking of booking our holiday up this way next year.
