This new contemporary art museum is really pushing the boundaries with a huge space, installations and exhibitions. Ok, so it's a bit of a trek from the centre but it's worth it and you can see Prague go by out of the window along the way too.

Mucha Museum

My mum and I have been obsessed with Mucha for quite some time so it was complete heaven to be in the Mucha Museum and see some of the rarer works and to learn a little more about him.

This is a totally mental modern art space in an industrial setting. When I went there was some mad installation with video bits and music all playing over each other, but i like it that their aim is to stop everyine thinking the same, and it really does make your mind think!

My boyfriend and I went in here to see the temporary art exhibition on the top floor but couldn't help trying to sneak a peek at as much as possible. The whole thing is so grand! Next time we've promised we'll go to hear a concert there.

John Lennon Wall

This is a really interesting sight. The Lennon Wall runs along Velkoprerovske Namesti and for several decades has been a place where people can pay tribute to the memory of the great man as well as embody the ideals that he stood for. Therre are lots of portraits of Lennon, bits of poetry or bits of peoples' musings. I even wrote something thankful that the less authoritarian government would not visit the same reprisals on me that the wall had caused in 1988!
