This was my second trip to Prague and we decided to get up at dawn and go for a look around before all the other tourists got up, and we were handsomely rewarded. Beautiful to see the city without the tourist throng, particularly Charles Bridge, whose charm at that hours was unmatched.

If you can fight your way into having a clear view the clock really is something pretty special. It's best to go see it twice, once when it's striking so you can see the full show, but also when it's not so you can get a closer look at the stunning face.

Absolutely stunning landscaped formal garden. I just had sucha lovely time walking around here with my mother, we didn't even notice the slight nip in the air signalling the onset of the colder months. Great statues, interesting flowers and don't miss going inside the building on the upper terrace to get an overview of the whole garden. Lovely lovely lovely.

A delightful place, the show captivated both us adults and our kids who thought they might be getting a bit old for that sort of thing, judging by the child-friendly name. But a great show of ballet, film and light makes for spectacular viewing, and a great story too.

Národní třída is the nearest metro, I can't remember or find the address though but it's not far
