I'd only ever been to Prague in the winter before so it was a real treat to be able to go on this walk i'd heard so much about. Beautiful walk, and the only way to see the castle in my opinion (seasons willing, of course).

High up away from the main attractions this place felt forgotten and the quiet was great. There's lots of walking around as all the sights are separated by walks. Don't miss the Casemates, deep passages in the ramparts where the original charles bridge statues are as well as the church and the rotunda.

There's such a pleasant atmosphere in Prague near the castle and the Charles Bridge. The bridge has items for sale by artists from Czech Republic and from other countries, especially the United States, and you can buy artwork and music CD's created by these artists as you walk along the cobblestone bridge that spans over the Vitava River. This is a memorable excursion and you can feast on a souvenir as you are at it. You can also get at shops, fast food and a nightclub or so across the bridge.
