Fascinating place. I've always admired the communist principles although they seems at their base level at odds with man's instincts. And now I know more!

With Prague all but cleared of Communist paraphernalia it's really interesting to go here and really see how all-pervading the regime was. Nothing can give you a real idea of what it was like to live under such rule but the whole place was so educational and informative.

Being a big history buff, while I was visiting Prague, I took an afternoon for myself to visit the Museum of Communism, which details the history of the Czech Republic as a whole during Communism, and has informative exhibitions which go all the way to the end of Communism, and the break up of Czechoslovakia.

For almost 50 years, delightful cities in Eastern Europe fell behind the iron curtain, changing them and their way of life forever. This museum is dedicated to showing what life was like in Prague, and the whole Czech Republic during communism, and is very informative about how it changed a whole way of life, and should be visited by any history buff visiting the city.
