My mum and I have been obsessed with Mucha for quite some time so it was complete heaven to be in the Mucha Museum and see some of the rarer works and to learn a little more about him.

So much to see, there's other museums inside too which I didn't know, and it's a thoroughly majestic building to boot. Supremely interesting.

With Prague all but cleared of Communist paraphernalia it's really interesting to go here and really see how all-pervading the regime was. Nothing can give you a real idea of what it was like to live under such rule but the whole place was so educational and informative.

The National Museum is really riveting, I love the minerals best for their colours, as well as the zoologica exhibits. The building itself is well worth looking round as the interior is just as impressive as the exterior.

As an aviation geek I have long been aware of Prague's connection to the history of the subject so it was a joy to go to the museum and see the amazing collection. I was particularly intersted in the czech-built plaes of the two world wars.
