I'd been to Prague a couple of times before and totally missed this attraction, a lovely tower with great views, which seems to have been similarly overlooked by most others, we had the viewing platform to ourselves for a good few minutes!

My wife and I did the guided tour and concert package and it's certainly the best thing we did. The building is huge, ornate, intricate, sumptuous and thrilling. The library and the mirror chapel, where we had a classical concert after, were amazing but it was the astronomical tower that really made it! A tough climb but totally worth it.

This looks like a mini eiffel tower and the views are really excellent from the top of it. It's exciting to get there too as the funicular has different views and a slightly scary feel. Don't forget to look round the gardens there too.

One of my favorite sites to visit while in Prague is the Old Town Bridge Tower. This imposing gothic structure, in addition to being a fine example of gothic architecture, also offers amazing views of the city to those who take the time to climb it is very narrow staircases. While potentially taxing, the view, I have found, is always worth it.
