My wife and I decided to take a couple of days to tour the interior of the islamd, since we normally just stick to the beach and then look wistfully as we go back to the airport. We looked online for a good route and decided to tour the centre of the island, the route went Tafira – Jardin Botánico Canario Viera y Clavijo – Caldera de Bandama – Santa Brígida – Vega de San Mateo – Pico de las Nieves - Tejeda – Artenara and we saw so many great things it's too much to say here just that we'd really recommend it!
