I'd been here about 12 years ago and whilst I'd been impressed with the collection, the place was lacking a certain something. Today though, with the stunning new building, it's all come together wonderfully. Great way to spend your morning.

I totally never expected to visit the largest asian art museum in the west! Wow, what an amazing place, so much to see and you really feel like you are immersed in the cultures.

I adored this modern art museum, housed in the stunning Mario Botta building, the skylights really add an extra dimension. I was amazed at how great the collection was too, the west coast not normally being known for modern art, with Warhol, Picasso and Dali the personal highlights.

it says it's an ongoing exploration of science, art and human perception and you really get that once you get inside and start experiencing and exploring all the exhibits. Covering a phenomenal breadth of subject areas the exploratorium is a place guarenteed to please, and i'm already itching to go back again, shame i live so far away!
