I thought this place was slightly terrifying, but my kids loved it. All sorts of games and mechanically operated whatnots that they could look at and get their hands on!

So much to see here! You have to go to explore it for yourself, although it is quite pricey. The indoor rainforest was my favourite place, it was just wonderful.

My kids, 7 and 5 had such an awesome time here. Thre;s so much for them to do inside and out that they kept saying they wanted to come back! The wave workshop was the top hit and I'm glad because I love to see my kids learning and playing at the same time.

Without a doubt one of the coolest places to visit in the San Francisco area is the former island prison of Alcatraz. The tour is incredibly interesting, and you see many of the former structures and cell blocks of the prison, including where some of the most infamous prisoners were kept. There is also an exhibit on when Native Americans captured the island in a protest during the 1960s.
