This is the most delightul place that I went in SF, and so unexpected! Victorian houses around a lovely square, great views out to the skyscrapers.

The first time I tried to go here I left in frustration as there were so many people trying to take pictures but a little later it was better. The 'painted lady' victorian houses are delightful and the view is superb. I really wanted to stay until sunset but my stomach disapproved of the plan.

one of the world's top shopping area and it really feels like it! a great buzz and plenty to do, you could shop all week and still feel like you could do more. look out also for the half price ticket booths for the shows, we were after getting tickets but ended up spending all out money shopping.
