We like to go self catering on holiday not just to save a bit of cash but so we have an excuse to visit all the local markets and we totally loved it here. So many great stalls and shops we were spoilt for choice!

Pike Place Market

The Pike Place Market is incredible! It is very popular amongst tourists but that doesn't detract from the fact that it is a living, breathing slice of Seattle heritage. It's reckoned to be the biggest farmers' market in the USA and hosts shops of pretty much all kinds, not just farmers and fishermen. There are also loads of restaurants of all kinds and some twee little souveneir shops.
