We took a couple of day trips out to this amazing island as we could just go snorkelling off the coast and see all sorts of wonderful fish, which is perfect when you have the kids in tow.

Oh my, what an amazing day out we had, there's so many awesome dive spots on the way there and back and the island itself is so beautiful. A little piece of heaven.

Amazing day trip, we didn't go on many as most places involve a lot of travel, but this was only an hour, beautiful on the way too. The island is stunning and the boat guys stoppped at a couple of amazing reefs and a shipwreck on the way too!

We booked through our hotel and they arranged a meeting place, which was on the jetty of the hotel itself.

The castle, on Pharaoh Island, is a fantastic creation. You only have to look around and see the lack of resources to see that the people who built it were resourceful people! Well worth seeing, but make sure you leave time to go swimming/diving/snorkelling off the north coast of the island as it's absolutely stunning.

this lovely island makes an ideal day trip with perfect diving areas and a relaxed vibe, we went there a couple of times during our 2 weeks and miss it all sooo much now we're back in the cold.
