St Catherine's Monastery

We joined a tour that went for the dawn climb up to the monastery. I could hardly believe my eyes when my alarm went off but it was totally worth it for the wonderful view!

St Catherine's Monastery

Not a short trip but so rewarding, my sister and I went here on a private tour and it was amazing. The church is fabulous, the 6th century mosaics are great, and then there's the icons and the really old christian manuscripts, either one worth the trip alone.

St Catherines Monastery

This is a day's excursion from Sharm el Sheikh but certainly worth it. The monastery sits at the foot of Mount Sinai and is one of the oldest monasteries in the world!
