Double Bay

This is the place to go for the best boutique shopping in Sydney. And believe me, i've been everywhere!! It's a beautiful area so make sure you go if you have expensive tastes!

Down the harbour towards the sea a little, on the south side. Head for Darling Point or Pipers Point and it's between the two.

Chinese Garden of Friendship

I'm a bit obsessed with Chinese gardens to be honest, I love their design and tranquility. And this one is a great example of the style. Apparently based on typical Ming Dynasty private gardens it's just lovely.

Hyde Park

I live right next to London's Hyde Park so I couldn't miss the Sydney version! It's a beautiful park and the fig-lined walkways are just stunning. Lovely fountains, great place to just hang out for a while enoying life.

Opera

We had to catch some Opera at the world heritage site of the opera house! We saw a performance in the Opera Theatre with drinks in the bar overlooking th Harbour beforehand and I have to say it was the most special memory of my trip.
