You can get a ferry to and from Manly, if you happen to be in Sydney. From here its a short walk round to the much nicer Shelley beach which is very quiet and quite secluded. There's also a lovely little cafe here where you can get fresh seafood caught locally.

You'd be hard pushed to getlost on this scenic walk as you just follow the cliffs around from Bondi. There are lots of great views and lovely uncrowded beaches along the way - Tamarama and Bronte especially are worth stopping at. You'll also pass a graveyard perched high up on cliff tops which is a beautiful sight.

This is a lovely scenic walk. It's about 9km and takes about 4 hours. Get a bus over Sydney Harbour Bridge to Spit Point and set off from there. You'll see some lovely ocean views, as well as the possibility of glimpsing some wildlife - lizards, small (and harmless) snakes and some aboriginal rock carvings. Manly is a lovely little secluded fishing village where you can have a little rest for a bit before getting on the ferry to Darling Harbour.
