This is a 2 hour cruise on an old 3 mast Danish Sailing ship. A true once in a lifetime experience. They offer a few different type of cruises from a BBQ lunch to a romantic twilight cruise. The guide will give you historic details about the ship as well as the points of interest that you will be sailing past on the harbor. The boat sails rain or shine so dress appropriately. The price is around $80 per person, and less for children. They also offer family packages. Where comfortable rubber soled shoes, and bring your sunscreen and a cushion.

Hope on a Ferry from Circular Quay to the stunner of an area. This little peninsula is Sydney's calmer little sister. With lots of shops (the majority selling surfing gear), restaurants and a beautiful clean beach (a lot quieter than Bondi), Manly makes for a little romantic getaway. Though try and avoid school holiday time if you want to avoid the daytrippers.

Take a Manly Ferry or a Manly Jetcat across the harbour from Circular Quay. Takes about 30 mins by ferry or 15 mins on the 'cat.

Darling Harbour is stunningly beautiful at night with the lights from the waterfront and boats reflecting on the water's surface. Perfect for a romantic walk at dusk in summer. With plenty of attractions, restaurants, accomodation and entertainment, it's must see.
