Hope on a Ferry from Circular Quay to the stunner of an area. This little peninsula is Sydney's calmer little sister. With lots of shops (the majority selling surfing gear), restaurants and a beautiful clean beach (a lot quieter than Bondi), Manly makes for a little romantic getaway. Though try and avoid school holiday time if you want to avoid the daytrippers.

Take a Manly Ferry or a Manly Jetcat across the harbour from Circular Quay. Takes about 30 mins by ferry or 15 mins on the 'cat.

You'd have to be blind to miss Sydney's Chinatown. Exotic, beautiful and a feast of sounds, smells and tastes. Some eateries in the area do not close until 4am. Do check out the main market areas.
