Those spaniards are a bit crazy as these rides are a bit scary for me, although my boyfriend loved them so maybe i'm just a wimp! Great views though!

This is a place to bring the kids to let off some steam, there's all sorts of great games to play, stuff to hit, things to throw at, as well as a huge cinema with english language films (greek subtitles). As stark a change from the ancient sites that you could manage in one day!

This is the place where many westerns and cowboy films were made as the landscape is very similar to that in the wild west. The remaining sets now make up a theme park and you can visit these film sets. There are sometimes shows and shootouts put on. Be sure to check out the saloon where you can see pictures of all the famous actors and musicians who have shot videos here in cluding David Beckham who shot an advert here and Sting who had a music video made here.

On our last family holiday to Gran Canaria we went to Holiday World which was great fun. The girls went for a spa in the morning whilst the boys played laser tag and then in the afternoon we all went on the fairground rides. Not a wild day out but good clean fun.

This is a wonderful scenic part of Malaysia just an hour and a half away from Kuala Lumpur. Once there, you can get the cable car up to the top through some amazing hillside scenery. At the top there's an indoor and outdoor theme park and both are worth a visit. Though the indoor parks free fall skydiving simulator probably wins out in terms of sheer white knuckle adrenaline.
