A lively area with lots to see and plenty of great food everywhere you look. We were delighted to be staying here.

Ah, this is the New York I wish to live in one day. Beautiful streets, great cultural vibe and lovely places to stop for some refreshments. Perfect!

This was the closest I came to feeling like I saw the real culture of HK underneath the glossy high-rise facade. Yes, that does come with lots of shark's fins (ick), but the buildings and the feel of the place are a little different.

A great place for a wander and to see the culture at the heart of Mumbai. There are also so many great places to eat that we just kept coming back for more learning and more food.

Self-proclamied as a 'republic', Fremont is a bustling haven of quirky shops and cafes and has a great vibe, totally different from the majority of the city. I loved hanging out here, and met several people who i've kept in contact with afterwards. Watch out for the statue of Lenin too!
