Wonderful spot! I practically moved in here on my holiday in Faro! Quaint cobbled streets, beautiful bright buildings and a really funky arty vibe. Heaven.

Known as the heart of literary Madrid this was my favourite spot in the city. You can just sit on one of the lovely cafes or bars, read and watch the world go by it's just perfect. Don't forget to hang about for tapas too!!

I just adore strolling along the left bank of the Seine, seeing Notre Dame and the two islands, feeling the arty vibe and browsing the lovely little bookshops. Go as far as you can - The Louvre across the river and the Hotel del Invalides await!

We were lucky enough to be staying in this area which is so vibrant and arty! The nightlife was great and in the daytime too there's so much to do with great places to eat. Don't miss out on the Balmain Markets, just the spot for some shopping!!

My boyfriend and I spent the best part of a day here in the lovely arty surroundings, wandering about soaking up the atmosphere enjoying the old buildings. The shops are great too and we stopped a couple of great cafes. Sad to miss the farmers market though so you might want to check out the days before you plan when to go there
