My mates and I were on a surf trip in Lanzarote when we heard about these islands so went to La Gracisoa, which was the one we could visit with least hassle. Great surf, secluded place and absolutely stunning. Very sorry we had to leave!

It seems like the waterfalls round here are the only way that the water reaches the med, but i'm not complaining they are so beautiful. My favourite is the one at Manavgat beacuse of the huge pool and gorgeous colours of the water. We took a picnic, swimwear and spent the day there.

My friends and I were on a road trip down through Spain and we ended up here one day so we decided to be extreme and try to get to or walk the King's Walkway, a path high up at the edge of the gorge, crumbling a bit now. We made the climb up and a few steps along but then chickened out. EXTREME! The rest of the gorge was lovely though and well worth visiting.

I got taken here by friends who I was visiting in Miami and I loved it. We spent our time by the mangrove forests which are amazing, as well as looking in the seagrass beds to see if we could see turtles and manatees but to no avail, i suspect we were too noisy! Would love to go back to the coral reef part and to see the tropical forest in the interior too.

My children and I accompanied my husband on business and this was their favourite thing to do. Not only do you get to see lodas of different and beautiful butterflies around but the children can also learn about life cycles of the animals in the nursery areas, if they are lucky they might even see one hatching out of its chrysalis.
